Binance restores HYPE, APT withdrawals as post-hack recovery continues

Binance has restored withdrawals for Hyperliquid (HYPE) and Aptos (APT), bringing two more cryptocurrencies back online as the exchange continues reopening services following its $6.3 billion security breach on October 29.

    Summary

    • Binance restored HYPE and APT withdrawals while continuing phased service recovery after its October breach.
    • Ethereum and Solana withdrawals previously reopened for dozens of tokens, including LINK, SHIB and BONK.
    • Binance said remaining withdrawal restorations depend on individual asset and network security checks being completed.
    • Hyperliquid traded near $77.12 while Aptos hovered around $0.5944 on November 8, market data showed.

In its latest withdrawal update, Binance confirmed that users can now withdraw both assets, joining stablecoins and dozens of Ethereum and Solana-based tokens restored during the preceding days. The exchange has been reopening withdrawals in stages as individual assets and blockchain networks complete security checks.

    Latest Withdrawal Update

Withdrawals have now been re-enabled for the following networks and assets:

    New:
    ✅ HYPE
    ✅ APT

    Already Enabled:
✅ ETH: RLUSD, USD1, TUSD, FDUSD, XUSD
✅ ETH: ENA, USDE, PENDLE, WLD, QNT, SHIB, ZRO, FET, NIL, ONDO, ALT, SKY, LINK, ETHFI, REZ,… https://t.co/lKFBGc4WCx

More than a week after the attack, some withdrawal services remain unavailable, although Binance has not published a complete list of outstanding restrictions in its latest notice. The company has continued directing customers to its official announcements for updates on additional assets.

Binance Adds HYPE and APT to Restored Withdrawal Services

The latest announcement identifies HYPE and APT as the newest additions to the exchange’s withdrawal restoration program. Their reopening follows earlier rounds covering major cryptocurrencies, stablecoins and several tokens used across decentralized finance platforms.

Previously restored Ethereum-network assets include Chainlink (LINK), Shiba Inu (SHIB), Ondo (ONDO), Pendle (PENDLE), Worldcoin (WLD), Ethena (ENA) and Ethena USDe (USDE).

On Solana, Binance confirmed that withdrawals had resumed for tokens including BONK, Jupiter (JUP), Render (RENDER), Raydium (RAY), dogwifhat (WIF), Official Trump (TRUMP) and Pyth Network (PYTH).

The exchange began this round of Ethereum withdrawals by restoring five stablecoins: RLUSD, USD1, TUSD, FDUSD and XUSD. It subsequently added more assets after completing the required security assessments.

“We will continue to restore additional assets and networks in phases as security checks are completed,” Binance said in its November 3 announcement.

The exchange has maintained that withdrawal availability depends on the selected asset and its blockchain network. Consequently, the restoration of one token does not establish that every withdrawal route supported by Binance has returned to normal.

Binance Continues Recovery After $6.3 Billion Crypto Hack

The latest reopening follows the October 29 cyberattack, which forced Binance to suspend cryptocurrency withdrawals while investigating compromised systems and restoring access to customer funds.

The exchange began reopening withdrawals on November 1, starting with Bitcoin and selected assets across 15 blockchain networks. crypto.news previously reported the initial restoration after Binance said it had replenished approximately 95% of the assets affected by the breach.

The company subsequently expanded withdrawals to Ethereum and Solana tokens on November 3. Its next recovery phase covered 51 additional assets, including LINK, SHIB, ONDO, BONK and TRUMP.

Binance said it would prioritize assets according to customer demand while examining individual networks and wallet infrastructure. Its November 6 recovery announcement targeted HYPE, APT, INJ, PLASMA, NEAR and LTC for reopening by the end of the following week.

The addition of HYPE and APT means the exchange has restored two assets from that group, but its latest update does not confirm whether the other four have completed their security checks.

Binance previously said it would cover customer losses using corporate resources and its Secure Asset Fund for Users. It has committed to restoring the emergency fund to approximately $1 billion after drawing on those reserves during recovery.

The exchange completed reserve verification for ten cryptocurrencies on November 2, covering BTC, ETH, USDT, BNB, SOL, USDC, XRP, USD1, RLUSD and ZEC.

HYPE and APT Prices Decline as Withdrawals Resume

The reopening comes while both cryptocurrencies are trading lower, although available market data does not establish a direct connection between their price movements and Binance’s withdrawal decision.

According to crypto.news Hyperliquid price data, HYPE traded near $77.12 on November 8, down approximately 2.47% over the preceding 24 hours. Its seven-day decline stood near 11.98%, with daily trading volume around $456 million.

Meanwhile, Aptos price data placed APT near $0.5944, representing a 1.16% daily decline. The token had lost approximately 6.8% over seven days, with 24-hour trading volume close to $17.1 million.

Although the recovery has progressed through several rounds, Binance has not confirmed when every supported cryptocurrency and network will become available again.

Its latest notice states, “Further updates will be shared through official Binance channels,” while the company continues security checks before reopening additional services.

Crypto.news contacted Binance for clarification on outstanding restrictions, the expected full restoration timeline and withdrawal activity following the HYPE and APT reopening, but had not received a response by press time.
